How might we offer a professional learning experience for the entire staff - from executives to interns - that empowers each person to be a creative, collaborative problem solver?
The IAB is a membership organization of media companies, technology companies and digital brands that are responsible for selling, delivering, and optimizing digital advertising or marketing campaigns. The IAB sets the standards and provides best practices and research that enables its members to thrive in the new digital economy.
In lieu of an annual retreat for senior executives, IAB wanted to harness the collective creativity of the entire company by engaging in conversation and bold thinking about emerging projects and challenges. Leadership+Design designed a day-long scaffolded experience for the 70 person team where cross divisional teams were given a meaty challenge and asked to ideate and prototype surprising solutions.
Human connection, play and radical collaboration were at the heart of the day. This was both a chance for team members to deepen relationships and build rapport with each other as well as a way to think big about the company.
