Remote Collaboration Training A Framework for Leading Teams Online
This 90 minute introductory course will help teams from education, business and industry that have made the transition to a remote working environment explore and plan to be more intentional about task and maintenance of your team(s) during both the synchronous (in real-time) and asynchronous (between in-person engagements) work engagements which are essential to maintaining and expanding productivity and impact.
Leadership+Design will share our newly developed Remote Collaboration mapping tool so participants can quickly put learning into action.
Why is this training important? In a perfect world, we would move slowly and intentionally towards new ways of working. However, in our current reality, that is not the case. Teams across the country are moving online, or already have. Never before have so many people, used to working in-person, been pushed into the online environment so quickly. Add to that reality that many other elements of our social infrastructure and economy have shifted (schools & daycares, social gatherings & community, opportunities for self-care etc.) and the results of this reality on our organizational culture and productivity are likely being felt in every organization.
After the logistics are worked out, the software and hardware installed, the fact remains that working remotely is different than simply logging onto a video conference meeting. It's about finding connection with one another as humans and deepening the connections to the work and values of our organizations, and about using the right approaches to prevent burnout and disengagement.

We are excited to expand this offering to leaders and organizations in business, local and state government or agencies (education, human services, corrections, etc.), state agencies, law, human service and non-profit, sales and retail, industry, and other businesses.

While we specialize in designing experiences for people who are responsible for the future of teaching and learning, our skills and experiences are applicable to any business who works with or employs humans. Teams are comprised of humans working together in person or online, and being intentional about the parameters and care of this work and team will help ensure organizational success.
