About The Cards

Developed in 2102 by Ryan Burke and Greg Bamford, co founders of Leadership+Design, this card deck is a tool to enhance group work.  The paradox of group life exists in any group - those that form in places of business, schools, churches, sports teams, and even families.

As human beings, we crave group life and we also find it to be hard, messy and complex.  Groups that have tools to identify and manage conflict, to get "unstuck" and to move forward, are more productive and also more joyful.  These L+D Cards offer over 70 suggestions for managing group life, increasing productivity in groups, and deepening the connection between collaborators.

Collaboration cards can be ordered by clicking on the icon to the left.  The decks are $25.00 plus shipping and handling.  Each deck is divided into four "suits" which help groups think about how to better accomplish "task" - progress towards an external goal - or to focus on group "maintenance" - preserving the health and well-being  of the group.  Take a look below at some examples of task and maintenance activities and actions that you might do with you your team.
