That’s where the L+D Caravan Tour comes in.

The L+D Caravan is a mobile, hyper-local professional development experience that brings L+D’s signature mix of bold ideas, human-centered design, and optimistic futurism directly to your neck of your woods. Each Caravan Tour is hosted by a local school, bringing together nearby educators and leaders to practice, prototype, reflect, and reimagine the work of education.

What Is the L+D Caravan Tour ?

This isn't your typical professional development - it's a dynamic learning experience built for collaboration and creativity. Attend with a team from your school to maximize impact, or join à la carte for one or two days that fit your goals. Think of it as a music festival for educators - three days of connection, reflection, and growth. We recommend that schools send a small group of educators each day they participate. 

  • Attend for 1 day, 2 days, or all 3 days for your school.

Each Caravan Tour is hosted by a local school, bringing together nearby educators and leaders to practice, prototype, reflect, and re-imagine the work of education.

Who Should Attend?

This experience is designed for:

  • Middle level leaders

  • Deans, directors, counselors, and instructional coaches

  • Teacher-leaders and aspiring leaders

You can come solo or bring a team. Schools that send teams of 3+ will work together across the Caravan experience and leave with shared knowledge and energy for the road ahead.

The Daily Lineup

Each day of  the caravan tour is built around a line up of impactful ideas that are relevant to the work of schools. 

  • DAY 1:

    Student Life and Well-being


    Reimagine school discipline and student support systems through a human-centered design lens. Learn how to build cultures of care and capability that prioritize relationships and growth over compliance and control.

    Best for: Deans, APs, Directors, Counselors, and Student life coordinators

  • DAY 2:

    Leadership Presence + Feedback


    Grow your leadership presence and skillfully navigate the complexities of giving and receiving feedback. Learn to hold space, manage up and down, and transform tension into trust. 


    Best for: Instructional coaches, team leads, emerging and mid-level leaders

  • DAY 3:

    Leaders of Color - Storytelling and Visioning

    This space is for us. Through storytelling, reflection, and collective dreaming, leaders of color will deepen their visionary capacity and build momentum toward liberatory leadership. A container for identity, voice, and visioning.

    Best for: BIPOC educators and school leaders

Pricing is à la carte or you may purchase a 3-day pass that is transferable.

Individual Day Pass
$349 – per pass/ticket

3 Day Pass
$800 - per pass/ticket

The cost is $349/person/day to attend. Schools may choose to send any combination of faculty to each day. 

Teams of attendees from the same school are recommended (2-5 members). There is no minimum number of attendees per school.

Each day has a maximum of 40 people, so register early.
